Customs clearance & VAT

The paperwork that decides your final price

Declarations, duty, VAT, reliefs and registration files for vehicles and household goods arriving in Cyprus.

The clearance process

Five stages, all handled in-house

  1. 1

    Pre-alert

Before the vessel arrives we collect your documents and check them against the manifest, so nothing is missing on arrival day.

  2. 2

    Declaration

We lodge the import declaration with Cyprus Customs, classify the goods and declare the correct value.

  3. 3

    Duty & VAT

Any duty and VAT is calculated, confirmed to you in writing and settled on your behalf.

  4. 4

    Release

Cargo is released from the terminal, inspected if customs request it, and moved to delivery.

  5. 5

    Registration

For vehicles we hand you a complete file for the road transport department and can manage registration for you.
