RoRo or container?
RoRo — roll-on / roll-off
The vehicle is driven onto a dedicated car carrier and secured on deck. It is the most economical option for a single running vehicle, and sailings are frequent. Nothing may be packed inside the car.
Container — shared or exclusive
The vehicle is loaded into a 20ft or 40ft container, out of the weather and out of sight. Best for prestige, classic and non-running vehicles, and the only way to ship a car together with furniture or personal effects.
Road trailer + ferry
Enclosed or open trailer through Europe and onto a ferry. Useful for tight deadlines out of Italy and Greece, and for multiple vehicles moving together.

Documents we need
- Vehicle title
- V5C logbook, Fahrzeugbrief or equivalent registration document
- Purchase invoice
- Dealer invoice or bill of sale showing the price paid
- Identification
- Passport or ID of the importer, plus TIC number if you have one
- Keys & manuals
- Two keys where possible; service history if the car is being resold
