RoRo or container?
RoRo — roll-on / roll-off
The vehicle is driven onto a dedicated car carrier and secured on deck. It is the most economical option for a single running vehicle, and sailings are frequent. Nothing may be packed inside the car.
Container — shared or exclusive
The vehicle is loaded into a 20ft or 40ft container, out of the weather and out of sight. Best for prestige, classic and non-running vehicles, and the only way to ship a car together with furniture or personal effects.
Road trailer + ferry
Enclosed or open trailer through Europe and onto a ferry. Useful for tight deadlines out of Italy and Greece, and for multiple vehicles moving together.

+How much does it cost to ship a car from the UK to Cyprus?
It depends on the vehicle, where it is collected from, and whether it travels RoRo or in a container. Rather than a rough guess, we quote one all-in figure covering collection, freight, clearance, duty, VAT and delivery to your door in Cyprus. A €800 booking deposit secures your collection slot and is deducted from the final invoice.
+How long does shipping a car to Cyprus take?
From UK and northern European ports, sea transit to Limassol typically takes around two to three weeks, with a few more days for customs clearance at the port. If the deadline is tight, a road trailer through Europe with a ferry crossing can be quicker — just tell us the date you need the car in Cyprus.
+Can I pack personal belongings in the car?
Nothing may be left inside the car on a RoRo sailing — anything loose has to be removed before loading. In a container there is room for boxes and luggage around the vehicle, and a container is also the only way to ship a car together with furniture or household effects.
+Do I pay duty and VAT on a car imported into Cyprus?
Vehicles imported into Cyprus from outside the EU customs area are subject to import duty and VAT, calculated on the vehicle's value, age and engine size. We handle the import declaration, calculate exactly what is due, settle it at Limassol and include it in your quote, so there are no surprises at the port.
+What documents do I need to ship my car?
The vehicle registration document (V5C logbook or equivalent), the purchase invoice, and a copy of your passport or ID. Two sets of keys are ideal, plus service history if the car is being resold. We prepare all export and import paperwork for you.
